Providence is calling a Senior Compliance Specialist who will:
Provide compliance and privacy program support to management across Providence St. Joseph Health and its Affiliates in furtherance of our mission
Provide an effective compliance program
Be expected to possess high level skills in investigative and research techniques and practices
Develop subject matter expertise in certain regulatory, compliance and privacy topics
Work with highly sensitive information
Have responsibilities that are diverse in support of Providence and its affiliates, including hospitals, physician clinics, skilled nursing facilities, health plan, medical foundations, educational institutions, child care centers, in-home services, and Providence Strategic Management Services (PSMS)
We welcome 100% remote work for residents of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Montana, California, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or another related field of study
5+ years progressive RIS (Risk Integrity Services) compliance/privacy experience -OR-
6+ years progressive compliance/privacy experience in another industry -OR-
5+ years progressive compliance/privacy experience in healthcare setting
Required upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
