Full-time, Day, Exempt position
Plans, organizes, and directs the strategic and operational activities of Respiratory Care at Providence Mission Hospital at Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach Campus and CHOC at Mission Hospital. Responsible for business plans, fiscal management and clinical and resource utilization. Works with Ministry Medical Directors and Physicians to develop departmental clinical programs, and provide managerial support and oversight for all assigned functions. Facilitates change and promotes teamwork within and between departments and across campuses. Develops, implements, directs, and coordinates departmental activities and functions. Must have outstanding and creative collaborative, supervisory, and administrative skills that will develop vision and priorities while directing and delegating the management of patient care services and assuring compliance with Federal, State, Joint Commission, and CAP regulations as well as any other applicable regulations or accreditation standards.
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business, or other related field
Candidates with a bachelor’s degree must have at least five (5) year's experience at manager level or above in Respiratory Care.
5 years' Experience in Respiratory Care-Adult Critical Care, Adult Med-Surg Care and Pediatric (PICU/NICU)
Experience in strategic planning and organizational
Leadership experience 5 years or above as either a manager or director, or combination of the two
