The Director, Reimbursement - Regulatory Reporting, is responsible for implementation of various strategic value-added reimbursement initiatives for the system to include evaluation, planning, coordination, and follow through to completion of such initiatives that include but are not limited to: Wage index reviews, Medicaid Eligible Days reviews, various cost based reimbursement strategies, and any reimbursement methodology related to Medicare and Medicaid that have reimbursement implications. The Director is responsible for ensuring efficient processes are maintained to accurately prepare Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, in addition to other regulatory filings as applicable. This includes monitoring the wage index processes and the Medicaid day verification processes. This also includes ensuring an adequate quality review process is in place for all regulatory reporting. In addition, the Director is responsible for ensuring efficient processes are maintained to accurately estimate the monthly accruals of 3rd party settlements. The Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with all government reimbursement regulations and ensures adequacy of internal controls related to such are periodically assessed for adequacy. The Director is also responsible for the efficient operation of the functional team, including supervision and review of staff, assessing current workloads, and providing adequate oversight and prioritization of reimbursement related projects. The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes PSJH mission, values, and philosophy. In all aspects, he/she serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics/Statistics
10 or more years demonstrated experience in the reimbursement field is required, including expert knowledge of current reimbursement and reporting rules and regulations
8 years leadership experience, including supervisory/management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree
CPA upon hire
CHFP upon hire
Work experience in consulting, in a multi-hospital system, or MAC
